Watching my father struggle for proper care and having my own pain dismissed, I realized: Health literacy should be a fundamental right. We must learn how to talk about our health, as it's a daily reality. My mission is to empower women to ask the critical questions that lead to a healthier life. This app is the advocate we all deserve.

Vanessa's Story

As a translator for her family in hospitals, Vanessa constantly carried the responsibility of remembering every diagnosis and medication. The questions never stopped, and the answers were rarely clear.

LEI – For the rhythm of your life

Interpreter of Silence​

For Laura, it began when her father was diagnosed with an incurable illness. Overnight she became the one responsible for gathering scattered health data, keeping track of emergencies and remembering which medications were safe and which were not. The burden didn’t stop with him. She faced the same chaos in her own care.

Unseen Weight of Translation

For Vanessa, it was the language barrier. As the one translating for her family in hospitals and doctor’s offices, she carried the constant responsibility of remembering every diagnosis, every allergy, every medication. The questions never ended, and the answers were rarely clear.

This is why we called it LEI

In different ways, both carried the same mental load: always responsible, always holding it all together, until their own health slipped to the side. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. Women have long been overlooked in scientific research and healthcare, too often dismissed as “too complex,” “too hormonal,” or “too unpredictable.
